NAOS Strategy

Prolongo has acquired the commitment to follow the NAOS strategy (nutrition, physical activity, and obesity prevention strategy), following guidelines agreed by the Ministry of health and the National Association of Spanish Meat industries (ANICE).

Currently this strategy is aimed at reducing fat and salt content of the products, and providing nutritional labelling on products such as information to consumers.

Prolongo collaborates with ANICE in the technical group which is developing the promotion of meat as a basic ingredient of the nutritional pyramid of consumers at all stages of their development. For more information, visit www.carneysalud.es
